Today is Tanabata, Japanese traditional event.
It is a continued practice from ancient times to July 7 in Japan.
Every year on July 7th, we write our wishes on “Tanzaku”.
Tanzaku is coloeful paper, blue, red, yellow, white, and Asagi.
And decorate the bamboo grass with the Tanzaku. It have many precious mean.
We decorate the bamboo with other things than Tanzaku.
Imitation star is to pray to reach them wish of dream☆
Cast net is for hope for a good harvest and good catch fish.
Wastebasket is the waste paper that after having made the decoration, learn to the mind of saving and clean.
Japanese-Kinchaku is purse of old era, so it hope business prosperity and feed the mind of saving.
Paper cranes is for hoping longevity of the family.
There are many more decoration of Tanabata.
We believe it is one of the most interesting and beautiful one among so many global festibals.
